Lee Frecklington returns for the Imps, but will probably start on the bench with Jamie Hand retaining his spot in the side. Hand has come in for some criticism recently for his passing ability, but at the 2-1 win over Shrewsbury he was the Imps most effective passer for the second Saturday in a row.
Jamie Forrester is likely to start in a deeper role with Louis Dodds retaining his place after a brace last weekend. Ben Wright will fill the second strikers role having hit 7 goals in 18 games recently.
Rochdale will have a familiar face in their line up, bustling striker Lee Thorpe signed for them in the transfer window. Thorpe has scored a couple of goals against the Imps in recent seasons, and the centre back pairing of Lee Beevers and Danny Hone will have their work cut out keeping the aggresive front man quiet.
Rochdale have only lost once on their travels this season, a 3-0 defeat at Peterborough on the opening day, and Keith Hills side have triumphed in seven of their last eight away games.
The game kicks off at 3.00pm tomorrow.
