Lincoln City midfielder Ali Fuseini wants to show the Imps faithful why he was such a star at Millwall and also fancied by Leeds prior to his legal issues. Steve Tilson alone kept the faith as a judge ruled Fuseini, 22, had no case to answer in February in relation to charges of kidnap and aiding and abetting rape.
Their loss our gain
Ali told BBC Lincolnshire: "I've got a manager who has put a lot of trust in me and I'm really grateful. He's shown faith in me and I'm going to repay the loyalty that he's shown."
The former Millwall midfielder, who joined Lincoln on transfer deadline day at the end of January, added: "Words can't explain how relieved I was. The manager gave me a chance so I got my football back on track, but at the same time it was still in the back of my mind.
"I'm relieved that it's over and done with and now I'm concentrating on my football and I'll make sure I repay the fans as well."
