Billy Jarish, the lad who painstakingly lays out the banners home and away -a Siilkmen disciple so to speak - is spearheading a charity bike ride in aid of the Richard Butcher Memorial Fund. The Passionista will command a posse of Imps who will depart from Sincil Bank on Monday 25th July, then cycle to Macclesfield’s Moss Rose, before going to Snowdonia. It is hoped that they will reach Mount Snowdon in Wales by 30th July.
Said Billy,
"Our group ranges in experience from those who have previously cycled John o'Groats to Land's End, to those who haven't cycled further than 4 miles before so the pace should be quite easy going!”
Billy is also keen to stress there is room for more.
"Anyone is welcome to join and can contact me on via email, and anyone can take part in as much or as little as they like e.g. climb the mountain and not cycle etc."
