The club are now pursuing the commercial plan devised by the aforementioned men which will “underpin the business viability for the coming seasons and beyond,” according to commercial lynchpin Wayne Bavin. A number of new and exciting initiatives are emerging.
“These initiatives are to be promoted as part of a major campaign in the media over the next few weeks,” said Bavin, talking exclusively to the Lincolnshire Echo.
The Lincolnshire Echo, a major sponsorship partner of the club, will play a pivotal role in the forthcoming ambitious commercial programme.
The programme will be as detailed below:
Commercial products and packages, e.g. – sponsorships, advertising and boxes
Merchandising, e.g. – redesigned home kit plus the usual range of items such as scarves, hats etc.
Lotteries, e.g. – The relaunch of the Imps Community Weather Game, improvements to the existing Birthday Lotto
General facilities, e.g. – Functions and party facilities, all weather pitch, physiotherapy facilities.
This dynamic marketing programme will be communicated on a weekly basis – every Thursday – as a feature in the Echo's sports pages. The football club has identified the need to communicate and market its products, services and ideas to the public, to generate further interest from the community and its businesses.
