Paul Connor finally looks set to put his injury hell behind him, and help lead the line in the Imps battle against relegation.
The 6ft 2" striker has had a torrid time at Lincoln, appearing in just three league games before picking up his injury before Chris Sutton arrived at the club.
So far the striker has endured a frustrating time under the new gaffer, able to only watch from the sidelines as the Imps search for a big striker who can hold the ball up for the pacy midfield.
Delroy Facey hasn't done a terrible job, but Connor is desperate to recapture some of the form the saw him become a legend at Rochdale.
Connor signed for City after being released by then Cheltenham manager Martin Allen at the end of last season, and despite having offers from America and the non league scene he opted to join Jacko's short lived season of hope.
