Lincoln duo Shane Clarke and Craig Fagan have been `effectively` taken off the transfer list, according to City chairman Bob Dorrian. Midfielder Clarke and striker Fagan, who both have one year remaining on their contracts at Sincil Bank, were deemed surplus to requirements by manager Chris Sutton at the end of last season. However, the club have received no offers for the players over the summer and they are to remain part of Sutton`s squad for the meantime. "No-one has come in for Shane so Chris Sutton has decided to use him for the remainder of his contract," Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo. "Hopefully, over the next few months, Shane will do well enough to earn a new deal. "We have also had no interest at all for Chris (Fagan). Unfortunately, he has suffered a few injuries so he has been unable to make much impact so far. His is a similar situation to Shane's, in that he has another season remaining on his contract. We see him as good, sound cover in case of injury. "Both players are now effectively off the transfer list but if someone offered us money then we would consider it. But, currently, we are letting things stand as they are."
