Yeovil have signed striker Martin Gritton from born again & ex calamity club Chester City, on a deal until the end of the season. The 32-year-old veteran targetman, has played for them in the past - a 4 match loan a decade ago - but had been down that way at the start of the season with a loan at Torquay. This whilst falling down the pecking order at Chesterfields who let him go in January of this yeas.
The big, solid, dependable frontman somehow passed us by during the Schofield era, as Forester and Stallard limited him to a handful of appearances,
But having trained with the Glovers they offered him the short term deal yestersday. Yeovil were able to sign him from Evostik Northern Premier League First Division North side Chester, who are now so far down the pyramid, that the transfer window rules exclude them.
