It looks like Cian Hughton, son of Chris his mentor at both the Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur’s academies, days at Lincoln City are numbered. His contract is up this summer and there was ominously no place for him in the side this Saturday.
Great going forward, he is a total liability to the counter attack, something no one astonishingly realised when hiring him as a versatile full or wing-back. Although Cian has got some decent goals for us, you have to question his strength in a division that asks a lot of questions physically. Perhaps that is why a lad with so much ability has been so hit and miss and seems destined to failure in Impdom.
