Cowburn - got the sending off all wrong
Futcher was sent off just before the hour mark by referee Mark Cowburn after clipping Yeovils Polish forward Bartusz Tarachulski. Tarachulski appeared to be heading away from goal and Paul Morgan was clearly tracking back and had replaced Futcher as the last man. The third and final point was the fact Alan Marriott had virtually got his foot on the ball when the theatrical Tarachulski went to ground. These three points were the basis of Keith Alexander succesful appeal.

"I think its the right result having viewed the incident numerous times over the weekend," explained Keith. "I thought it might be a foul but it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity as Alan Marriott was about to gather the ball and there were plenty of people about as well."

Keith explained he was grateful to the FA "Every time I've seen the tape it's become clearer and clearer that it wasn't even a bookable offence so I'm pleased he's been cleared completely. Theres been a lot of appeals this week and in fairness to the FA they've dealt with our very quickly and I'm very pleased with that."
