Graham Seizes Chance

It would appear robust Scottish striker David Graham's patience in waiting for a chance to shine may have finally paid off.

Jacko has dropped his broadest hint yet that ex Sheff Weds striker Graham may still have a future at Lincoln City.

Graham (30), sees his contract expire at the end of this month and looked to be heading for the door. He hadn't figured in a first-team game for almost three months.

Graham was however one of the very few highlights from Saturdays dismal defeat at Exeter, showing good touches and a maturity not seen since Forresters departure in July.

The remarkable turnaround now sees the former Wigan striker challenging cult hero Adrian Patulea for the one strikers spot on offer.

"It was a hard choice. Obviously Adrian was fit again, but I just felt David was better in training last week" explained Jackson.

"I thought it was the right opportunity to play him. He certainly didn't let me down and at the time I hoped he had been credited with our goal. I thought he looked lively and created one or two chances for himself."

"I was pleased with his play and contribution. At the end of this month, his contract runs out and I've got to make a decision."

"A performance like that will do him no harm."

A performance like that may well do no harm, but a switch back to 4-4-2 would do him more good, as that would open a second strikers berth.
