Danny Hone looked set for a season at Darlington and perhaps the remainder of his career in the BSP under Chris Sutton, until injuries decimated our defence. Back he came to a club he and his father treasure above all else to don the red and white stripes in our darkest hour of need.
Danny has been ever present in the League (Cup tied) playing 11 games since returning in January. He has put life and limb on the line and taken a few clumps as usual for the cause. It is something Tilson, Brush and a growing number of Imps are beginning to appreciate.
He may have stopped growing at 6’5” but remember he is still just 21.
