Hughton has turned in several competent and impressive displays at full back, after initially being given a trial to see if he could cover adequately for Paul Green in his injury absence. Cian has showed enough potential to earn himself a six month deal, and LCM understands this includes a clause triggering a further six month option should both parties be happy come January.
Cian is a product of the Spurs youth system, and came here on trial after being released by Spurs. Although he appears slightly built his pace and poise will be an asset and he'll be looking to form a partnership with Jamie Clarke on the right hand side of the park.
News of Cian's permanent move comes amid rumours of the 'big name' signing of the summer dropping into place. Jacko will be judged on the quality of a striker he brings in, and despite Paul Connors arrival the signs are that Jacko is still chasing that elusive target man.
