Lincoln City Mad would like to wish Moses Swaibu lots of luck when he answers bail before the beak in Lincoln today. The bubbly lad had settled in well moving here from Crystal Palace after a sobering upbringing in London's Islington, a place where a sense of humour is as massive as a Saturday in Stockport.
Moses was left on the bench on Saturday in what has been a trying time on and off the pitch. The criminal allegations relate to an incident on December 20th when Moses was stopped by security after buying goods at the self service checkouts of a local supermarket. For the confused Imps who thought it might be Asda, Aldi, Budgen's (they still going), Co Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury or Waitrose , we can reveal that it was in fact Tesco on Wragby Road.
The central issue appears to be that a pre cooked chicken had not been payed for for one reason or another. The 21 year old has been on bail for theft since January 7th and will probably be pleased to sort this one way or the other. Let's hope he has a Lawyer with him as opposed to representing himself, as self service does not seem a strong point either.
Look on the bright side Moses the Imps achieved the first half of a two legged affair on Saturday and hopefully you will get a result in the second today. As Tilson says one step at a time
