Boulding hit 25 goals last term, and was the only real bright spot in a disastrous season for Mansfield. With their relegation he was expected to find a new club, and Iffy admitted that club could be Lincoln.
At an EGM recently Iffy said the 32 year old was on Lincolns radar, but they wouldn't pay over the odds for Boudling. Its thought Rotherham are also involved in the chase for the striker who netted twice at Sincil Bank this season. However given The Millers perilous financial state they are unlikely to push the price up too high.
Onuora also revealed that The Imps were closing in on a replacement for departing City legend Alan Marriott, cruelly shown the door after nine sterling years of service.
There are also rumours abound that MK Dons defender Gareth Edds and released Wrexham striker Chris Llewellyn may be amongst names interesting the Imps management. The Wrexham man has also been attracting the interest of free spending Peterborough, and will always be remembered as the man who scored Wrexhams final league goal, ironically against The Imps in May.
