The 24-year-old has since been linked with a move to Swansea from Peterborough, with Diamond admitting the Imps may receive nothing - despite having inserted a 17.5% sell-on clause when the midfielder departed - if he leaves London Road for less than the Posh originally paid for him.
"For argument's sake if Peterborough had paid us £100,000 for Lee and then sold him for £200,000 - a £100,000 profit - we would receive 17.5% of that profit," Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"Then you have to take into consideration that there are a number of ways Swansea could structure the deal - they could pay Peterborough so much after a certain number of appearances, so we are not expecting much money."
