Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton is hopeful that the injury to Adam Watts in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Rotherham is not as serious as first feared. The defender, 22, limped off in the second half in his first league game since breaking his leg in February.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "He got a kick more than anything, but I suppose it's natural we panic more with Adam, with his history he couldn't carry on."
Watts will face a fitness test ahead of Tuesday's League Cup tie at Leeds.
After Saturday's match Watts said: "It was unfortunate that it was on my left foot, it was just one of those things and I just didn't feel comfortable to carry on.
"But I feel all right now, so don't rule me out for the game on Tuesday."
