City have today secured the services of not one but TWO strikers as they begin their quest to force their way up the League Two table.
Former Rangers front man Brian Gilmour became Chris Sutton’s third permanent signing after Khanu Smith and Michael Gordon. Gilmour is a 22 year old forward who recently had trials at Blackpool after spells with FC Haka in Finland as well as Clyde and Queen of the South in Scotland. Although he can operate in midfield, recently he’s been touted as a striker, suggesting he may play off a dominating front man.
That dominating front man that has signed on loan is journeyman Delroy Facey. Facey has dropped down the pecking order at Notts County, and has been told he is free to leave. However he signs on an initial one month loan deal.
Facey is unavailable for tomorrows clash with Northwich, but Gilmour will go straight into the squad, with the squad number 35.
