The match at the Blue Square North club's Marstons Stadium will now kick-off at 12.45 on Saturday, 28 November.
Imps chairman Steff Wright told local media: "Any league club needs to get additional income to enable them to move forward.
"This will strengthen Chris Sutton's budget for the rest of the season."
The size of the strengthened budget is significant. Not only do the imps recieve an estimated £17,000 for winning there first round tie, a win at The Vics will net another £25,000+. With the game being selected for TV it could mean the club are in for a windfall of around £70,000.
That's no small change in the current climate, and with the Imps figures showing a loss of around £66,000 last year, it proves we were only a 1st round win away from break even last season.
Imps fans now have the hard decision to make - do they stay and watch the game on TV, or leave Lincoln at 8.00am for the long journey west? LCM will be doing the latter.
