With a two goal lead to defend going into the secon leg of the third division play-off final against Scunthorpe Imps manager Keith Alexander has insisted that recent events off the pitch will be ignored when the two sides walk out on to the pitch at Glanford Park.
Alexander said: "What goes on between Brian Laws and myself doesn't effect what happens on the pitch and shouldn't do. We're only concentrating on going to Scunthorpe to try and get a result.
"It's going to be a game where we'll need to concentrate for ninety minutes. Hopefully we can score and if we do so then it will make our joob easier, but we'll be happy with any result that means we come out of the tie as the victors."
