Jacko has made it clear he will not be pressured into making loan signings despite the Imps' poor start to the season in League Two.
The lacklustre 3-1 defeat at Gigg Lane on Saturday was the fourth in six matches, with our only points coming against a poor Grimsby side and an even worse Barnet side.
Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I brought in nine players over the summer and I'm going to stick with these players and see how they do.
"I've got a good squad but one that's under-achieving at the moment so we have to stick at it."
Of those nine players he brought in three have failed to impress the fans, most notably perhaps Kevin Gall. Gall has been ineffective up front and alongside Frank Sinclair and Aaron Brown hasn't set Sincil Bank on fire. Furthermore David Graham and Sam Mullarkey are yet to make a start.
Defending however is the real problem with Kovacs and Sinclair lacking any real pace.
Jacko said: "Three set-pieces which we didn't defend correctly cost us the points.
"We knew they had height in there and I was looking for my goalkeeper and defenders to deal with the problem.
"We suffered from it last season. That's why we made changes at the back, but they're not working at the moment."
