Reames sadly passed away on Tuesday at his home after a short battle with cancer. Reames joined the club in 1985 as chairman and remained in that position until late 2000. He even held the position of manager for a short while in 1999-2000, winning manager of the month for his endeavours.
Reames was at times a controversial figure who never minced a word, but whose tireless work will always be remebered by those who had the pleasure of working around him. As recently as March this year Reames was a guest at the Imps 1988 GMVC reunion dinner, and he quite rightly recieved a standing ovation from the assembled masses.
Love him or loath him as chairman of the Imps his work, effort and commitment to the club could never be doubted, and LCM offers our deepest sympathies to his family at this time.
