Preece hoping to get Imps nod
Lincoln goalkeeper David Preece could keep his place in the side when Sky Bet League Two side Plymouth visit Sincil Bank in the FA Cup first round.
The experienced stopper made his first appearance of the season in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Welling in the absence of Paul Farman (knee).
Imps boss Gary Simpson check on Farman ahead of kick-off to see whether he is ready to return, with Preece ready to deputise if he is not passed fit.
Midfielder Jon Nolan will be hoping for a recall after failing to regain his place in the side upon his return from suspension at the weekend.
Plymouth look set to hand new signing Temitope Obadeyi a debut.
The Pilgrims, keen to avoid being the victims of a giantkilling for the third successive season, added the 24-year-old Bury striker to their squad on Thursday and he was granted permission by his parent club to feature in the cup tie.
Manager John Sheridan had been searching for another forward since Marvin Morgan suffered a shoulder injury and his need for forwards was reinforced when Paul Hayes returned to Brentford following a one-month stay at Home Park.
Argyle make the trip to Sincil Bank looking for their third straight victory after back-to-back 1-0 victories in Sky Bet League Two.
