More big names in benefit line-up

Four more internationals have been confirmed to play in a benefit match in memory of ex-Macclesfield and Lincoln manager Keith Alexander next month.Ex-Holland and Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and former England midfielders Lee Sharpe, Steve Hodge and Rob Lee will play for an all-star XI.

They will face a team of Alexander's former players at Sincil Bank on 3 May.

Other big names who will appear in the match are Paul Merson, Des Walker, Brian Deane and Mark Walters.

Another former England international, MK Dons boss Paul Ince, will take charge of the all-stars while Alexander's long-time assistant, Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson, will lead the team of his ex-players.

It includes nine members of Lincoln's 2003 play-off final squad, five other former Imps players and four who played under Alexander at Peterborough.

Money raised from the game will go to the family of Alexander, who died suddenly in March aged 53.
