Cult striker Adrian Patulea has hinted that he may have played his last game for The Imps.
The Romanian striker limped off with a hamstring injury after scoring the equaliser in the Imps' 1-1 draw at Chesterfield on Tuesday.
Patulea is out of contract in the summer told local radio: "It's very deep and sore, in my opinion my season is over, I am disappointed.
"I feel that this will be the last applause for me."
The 24-year-old added that he was happy to discuss a new deal with Imps boss Peter Jackson: "When they want to discuss my contract I will be happy to discuss with them."
Patulea has scored 11 goals in 17 starts for Lincoln since joining from Petrolul Ploesti for an undisclosed fee in August 2008.
