Assistant Manager Ian Pearce has reprised his playing career after nearly a two year absence to help with the Imps push up the table.
The 35-year-old former Blackburn and West Ham defender is available for selection for our clash with Northampton Town on Saturday..
Pearce last played a match in February 2008 when he was on loan at Southampton from Fulham.
New Lincoln manager Chris Sutton said when he was appointed that there was a chance of Pearce signing as a player, and with a threadbare squad Pearce’s experience may come in handy over the coming weeks. There is also the bonus of being able to get management instructions across on the playing field.
