Plymouth V Lincoln City at Home Park - Match Preview

Obadeyi pushing for Pilgrims place

Plymouth forward Temitope Obadeyi could make his first start for the club when Lincoln visit Home Park for the FA Cup first-round replay.

The on-loan Bury man came off the bench to score his first goal for the Pilgrims during the 1-1 draw with York at the weekend, and he is in contention to start.

Goalkeeper Jake Cole, who started between the sticks in the initial cup tie, will be hoping for a recall after losing his place in the side to Luke McCormick last time out.

Manager John Sheridan is expected to name a strong squad for the clash and is unlikely to make wholesale changes from Saturday's draw.

Lincoln will be without loanee Chris Sharp when they make the long trip south.

The 27-year-old has already made an appearance for parent club Hereford during their qualifying-round win at Hornchurch last month.

Boss Gary Simpson could recall Nick Wright as a replacement after he lost his place following Sharp's arrival at Sincil Bank, but fellow striker Waide Fairhurst is also hoping to be included in the starting XI.

The Imps will be without Conner Robinson (leg), who is faced with a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but Danny Rowe (ankle) is close to a return having not featured since September.
