Simon Yeo sent a heart-warming message to The Lincoln City floor of the Footy Mad Towers ahead of our first matchday the Hereford FA Cup match.
“Good luck To Lincoln City Mad and I must admit its so nice to see Delboy…..err I mean Neil back writing for the Imps. He may be from ‘Darn Sarf’ but then so is Steve Tilson and these Crafty cockneys have their hearts in the right place and a habit of winning. So keep the faith”
Simon has also agreed to make a trip down to The Lincoln Green Theatre of the Absurd really soon.
“You can expect to see me down at Sincil Bank soon – back amongst the Passionista of course – with a pie in one hand and a full fat Coke in the other cheering the Imps to safety. I'm still keeping myself trim just incase a comeback is on the cards.
Simon also urged Imps to get their colours out for the FA Cup glory match on Saturday.
"A win tomorrow and another against Wycombe – keep the faith it can be done – and I will hopefully be able to blag a seat at a fourth round home glamour tie at the Bank That’s sure to fill them seats and get all the ex Imps back from out of the woodwork to bolster Steve’s warchest”.
Thanks Simon - outstanding geezer as ever.
