Leeds striker Davide Somma appears to have closed the door on a return to Lincoln. Somma rattled in nine goals in 14 appearances during a loan spell at Sincil Bank last term, but the 25-year-old has impressed on Leeds' pre-season tour of Slovakia and wants to establish himself in boss Simon Grayson's plans for United's npower Championship campaign. "There were times when I didn't really think I would be here (Leeds) this season," Somma told Sports Echo. "I want to make it at this club so badly and to know that I'm part of the plans, that I won't be going on loan before the season starts, it's a big deal. "I know where I stand and it's great and I'm ready to go for it next season." To back-up Somma's thoughts, Grayson has also confirmed his man will not be leaving Elland Road on loan.
