Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton says he is prepared to let Jamie Clarke leave Sincil Bank after the striker handed in a transfer request on Monday.Clarke has not played since the Imps' 3-1 defeat by Rochdale in December.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "I don't want to keep players here if they don't want to be here.
"We're still in a fight at the bottom of the table and I want players who want to play for the club. If he doesn't, then he can go on his way."
Clarke was signed by former Imps boss Peter Jackson last summer and made has 23 appearances for the club.
He has scored four goals, three of which came in the FA Cup matches against Telford and Northwich Victoria.
