The three-man FA panel have today announced their verdict with regards to sixteen charges brought against the club for alleged contractual irregularities.
- The club will be fined £100,000
- The club will begin their Division Three season with 4 points deducted.
- The cases against suspended manager Steve Evans and former chairman Pat Malkinson have been adjourned, and so Evans remains suspended by the club pending the inquiry’s outcome.
- Boston United FC are set to appeal against the punishment, Chief Executive Des Wood labelling it “excessive”.
