Horsfield has been out of the game for nine weeks after recovering from testicular cancer, and has proved his value to the squad over the last few weeks whilst training with The Imps.
Steff Wright commented that Geoff may not be directly involved with training, but may be working closesly with Iffy and Jacko to gain valuable coaching experience. Already young striker Lenny John Lewis has commented on how much he is looking forward to playing with the bustling Horsfield.
He will go straight into the squad for tomorrows clash with Morecombe.
