Cor blimey Guv'nor we have returned to the gravevine (not the Burton Road one) of Sincil Bank recently and can't believe the stuff we are 'earing at the moment, it must be something in the Burton Waters!
Even the away form of the Imps can't compete with a prominent bean counter at the club who is looking for new accommodation having been shown a straight red card by his signficent other. Perhaps a visit to that posh place between Saxilby and Lincoln is in order and maybe the odd meal on his own (for once) at Woodcocks? Not the sort of behaviour we would expect from a family friendly community club and those that run it when so many other investors have been turned down by the club's aloof and somewhat choosy board.
Moving onto the club's soon to be departing CEO we hear he has been working overtime to ensure he has the funds to finance his new challenge. Looks like a couple of days a week down at a well known computer company, where in fact he has been doing an Arkwright behind the counter from time to time, serving up the punters. The other few days a week may be spent with a Wright mate at a building firm a bit further down the A46 (with just £48,000 net worth for show are they big enough for such an ambitious player who has admitted he wants to move on to bigger and better things?) Let us hope theres been some saving doing all this overtime whilst still being a full time employee of the Imps.
The old administration looks like it's changing, hip hip hooray.
