Barnsley have, as expected, completed the signing of Kern Miller, just 4 days after the 19 year olds contract had run down. Clearly Mark Robins sees the potential in the promising lad developed by ex Lincoln fountain of Youth Guru Tom Spall.
Uncle Bob meanwhile has admitted the Imps are yet to open discussions with exciting 26 year old Sierra Leone wide boy Albert Jarrett. This is a crying shame given the lad has been one of the season’s few successes, but typical of the neglectful nature of things in Impdom.
Jarrett and his agent will doubtless wait things out now and take advantage of a free transfer and a signing on fee. This would leave the Imps without a fee for a player that has provided a little respite in the Ice age that appears to be gripping Sincil Bank on and off the pitch. Hopefully things will thaw in time for the mammals to inherit at least league status when the Dinosaurs are forced into extinction.
