Speaking to The Lincolnshire Echo this week, Chris Sutton spoke of his fristration at the cold snap that has gripped Britain recently.
"It has been a hugely frustrating week, because the weather has forced us indoors, when really we wanted to be out there and doing ball work,"
"We wanted to train on the G3 and even offered to clear the snow off ourselves, but we had to abandon that because of issues regarding the artificial turf."
Lincoln has a number of artificial surfaces at schools and education facilities, but all have been affected by the weather. Even with the snow subsiding, most surfaces are still frozen and unplayable.
"The lack of facilities has been problematic because the schools have their curriculum to stick to and there's not really an abundance of other places to choose from."
"Atthe minute we are completely at the behest of the weather, but I suppose we are not the only team who are struggling."
However The Imps aren't the only side who have been affected, even some Championship sides such as Scunthorpe have been unable to train properly.
However the winter break has allowed the Imps walking wounded to recover, with Paul Connor looking at match fitness once again.
