Worthington Cup 2002/03 First Round Draw

The draw took place at 10am on Wednesday 24^th July.

The Second Division Hatters will visit Sincil Bank during the week commencing September 9^th 2002.

Local rivals Boston United travel to Bristol Rovers on 20^th August 2002 to contest a preliminary play-off.

Meanwhile, both Mansfield Town and Hull City have landed potential money-spinning ties, at home to Derby County and Leicester City respectively. Scunthorpe United also do not face an easy passage to the next round, as the ‘Iron’ travel to Preston North End. Grimsby Town have been drawn a home tie against Chesterfield.
