Beevers to swap paupers for princes?

The ex Ipswich player has been the subject of a bid from City gaffer Keith Alexander and City now await the decision of Beevers.

Keith confirmed that he had put an offer in for Beevers in the wake of injuries to Gareth McAuley and Ben Futcher. He also confirmed the bid had been accepted by Boston.

Beevers signed for Boston from Ipswich last season and has turned in 36 consistent displays this season, but he could have played his last game for the Pilgrims as Keith is hoping to tie the deal up before next weekends game. It is doubtful the defender will have accepted and signed in time for Tuesdays clash with Orient.
