City forward Dene Cropper has signed for Boston United this week in a deal until the end of the season.
Cropper scored just 3 times for City in his season and three quarter spell, and has failed to break into the first team in the wake of 39 goal quartet Yeo, Richardson, Green and Fletcher.
The frustration at his limited oppotunity and barren spell in front of goal has prompted his transfer, and the big man is hoping to shine under a Steve Evans inspired Pilgrims.
Keith Alexander will step up his hunt for a replacement for Cropper on Thursday, hoping to bring in at least one new face before the 5 pm transfer deadline.
