In a further twist to the saga that has seen ex – Tottenham Hotspur prodigal son sent to Coventry it would appear he is now right to play according to Steve Tilson in a most illuminating press call at The Bank. Ahead of a massive double bill including the trip to Gigg Lane and the Cheltenham must win at the Bank Stevie T was his normal candid self. He explained that Watts missed the draw against Crewe due to a bug while Hughton was "not mentally right" to play at Gresty Road, but will return to the squad this weekend
This will be a welcome boost for Tilson after on-loan duo Stephen Hunt and Julian Kelly returned to their parent clubs. Said the gaffer "Adam and Cian will be fine for this weekend, while Mustapha is also coming along nicely," said Tilson. "There's no doubt I need some extra bodies, especially after Julian and Stephen went back. Defensively we are a bit short on numbers so to have them two available will help us out a great deal."
Winger Mustapha Carayol will join Hughton on the bench with Green moving across to right back in place of the departed Kelly. Watts will return to the centre in place of Green to partner Hone, with Anderson at left back.
We should also see a continuance of 4-5-1 on Saturday with the existing quintet of Howell Keltie Fuseini Kilby and McCallum swamping the middle. Hutchinson will be given another opportunity to stake a claim for next season with the emphasis on trying to nick a point or at the very least avoid a repeat of the 5-0 drubbing at the Bank earlier in the season.
