Could Lincoln City be looking at a sensational return home for one of the Blue Square Premier's best keepers?  Mazza, the  Imps legend who needs no introduction, has a year left on his Mansfield Town deal but with Cox now in place and armed with the funds for a serious rebuild, Mazza could well be a caualty with the Imps the first port of call.

 

This would pave the way for a dream return to Sincil Bank for a lad who made 358 league and 23 Cup appearances for the Imps and kept over 100 clean sheets. Although he had his critics Mazza will always be England's number one to many. His hairstyle was always as razer sharp as his reactions and in truth have we really had better since he left?

 

With the rumours gathering momentum the only question is whether the Imps can finally sort out a war chest to make the City proud again.  Will Tilson live with his incredible limitations or will he and Brush move on and free up even more cash for perhaps Grant Brown and Chris Moyses to complete a dream team to take us up? 

 

If that happens you can bet Mazza and a few other Lincoln lads will be homoured to be asked to return. That is the kind of passion that will kick start a Bank Bounce Back!
