Is Notts County Stalwart Hunt Set to Stay At Imps?

The Imps are set to retain the services of Stephen Hunt with Notts County  rubberstamping a deal until 23^rd April, the full permissible term under the 93 day loan rule. However that may not be the end of our involvement with the popular left back, aka Tally Ho The Hunt. 

Yes indeedy - He's blonde he's quick but fortunately his name's no porno flick - unlike another left back we failed to pull a couple of years ago.   But its clean sheets we want in this game and on the positive side it appears he is well up for it (staying at the Imps those fidgeting at the back) and is eager to stay at the Imps and lets hope he can win further League 2 silverware.  

 

Although a  6’1” centre back by trade  Stephen was an ever present in Notts Count’s  2009-10 championship season, largely playing at left back. His height and pace are great assets at both ends of the field but the word dependability should really be put under his picture in a football who’s who.

Since joining the Imps Hunt’s influence has been immense both on the pitch as well as in a dressing room that had, in truth, been divided. The not so gentle giant is a great neutralising figure. At 26 he has a mix of youth and experience, just the balance the make up of the squad and back four needs to add to those three clean sheets in recent games.
