McNamara has failed to break into the first team at City and was released at the end of last season. However the determind striker earned himself a one month contract prior to this seasons big kick off, and has recently been awarded a further three months in order for Keith to fully assess his value to the squad.
The loan spell will provide Niall with a chance to show Keith what he is capable of. He signed for City from Belper Town in 2003.
