City manager Keith Alexander has bagged a trio of new bodies prior to this afternoons 5pm transfer dealine.

Midfielder Craig Rocastle, left sided utility man Kevin George and former York striker Aron Wilford all became City players for the forseeable future.

Wilford signed after being released by the Minstermen and has until the end of the season to impress. He will be asked to help fill the 'void' left by Dene Cropper as the fifth place striker.
George will be renewed cover down a threadbare left side. When Kevin Ellisons loan expires City boast only Gain and Kevin Sandwith down the left, and George will offer an attracive option for Keith.
Finally from Premiership giants Chelsea comes midfielder Craig Rocastle. Rocastle is from impressive stock as he is the cousin of the late Arsenal legend David 'Rocky' Rocastle. 6'1 Rocastle will add another midfield option for the next month until Richard Butcher's injury is close an end.

All three players will be in contention for a squad place for saturdays home clash with Kidderminster. If any were to start it would almost certainly be Rocastle with Citys midfield two Sedgemore and Gain due a break.
