Transfer frenzy continues as Imps sign Terriers ace

Nat Brown signs a one year deal with the Imps
Brown spent last season at Huddersfield Town where Peter Jackson utilised him in a number of positions, perhaps most significantly for a spell at right back, a position that has given Keith a real headache since Mark Baileys departure a year ago.

Brown made 17 appearances last season with 7 starts and 10 after coming on as a sub. 24 year old Brown was highly thought of at Huddersfield, but as Peter Jackson couldn't promise first team football he offered the player the opportunity to move elsewhere. Shrewsbury were interested but talks broke down and Keith moved quickly to snap up the former Terriers trainee on a one year deal.

Brown originally started out as a striker with Huddersfield and at 6'2 will no doubt be an ariel threat. More recently he has converted to a defensive player but having seen Jamie McCombe used in both positions it seems that Browns ability to play anywhere on the park will serve him well at Sincil Bank.
