Toner spent last season with Leyton Orient and has been offered a deal after impressing in a lengthy pre season trial.
Rayner is heading to the back with a good CV boasting trials at Newcastle United and a spell with top welsh side Port Talbot. The towering goalkeeper is seen as ideal material to challenge Alan Marriott for the number one shirt.
Keith Alexander revealed the two players are the last of the summer trialists to be offered a deal with the club. "I fielded several trialists at Kettering but none have been offered a deal at this time."
However Keith remained optimistic about the double swoop for Toner and Rayner. "Both have been offered contracts but these things can get quite protracted these days and we are waiting for their respective agents to get back to us."
