Who is Scott McGleish
Last updated : 24 May 2011 By Neil Hobbs
Ex Orient striker Scott McGleish could well become a player coach at the Imps if Paul Brush and Steve Tilson can juggle the budget to accommodate him.
Despite being 37 years of age Orient were close to offering him a new deal after he bagged 17 (plus 5 assists) for the O’s last season and kept Adrian Patulea out of the side. Adrian incidentally is also doing the rounds looking for a club and would jump at the chance of a return to the Imps judging by his comments last season, prior to a Hereford jaunt.
Scott meanwhile is looking to start his coaching badges and has links with Brush who is a native of Leyton and has a history with Orient and of course West Ham. The key thing is will the budget run to a player who will be willing to drop a level to play and coach?
