Wright will take the chair as Rob Bradley steps down after a fantastic four years in charge at The Bank, and he was quick to curry favour with the fans by announcing his intentions towards Keith.

"He will be our manager next season and hopefully many seasons after. We expect him to continue building the squad in League One next season."

Alexander has been courted by both Peterborough and Notts County, but should The Imps win promotion he will undoubtedly stay on for our League One campaign next season.
