Pilgrims to visit in Lincs County Cup

Gazza - Could face County Cup action next Tuesday

The Imps have been paired with League Two rivals Boston United in the semi final of this years County Cup, with the match set to take place on Tuesday 14th September, just 3 days after the two sides meet in league action.

A Paul Gascoinge inspired Boston will visit on Saturday, and make the short journey north again on Tuesday for the 7.30pm kick off. This of course throws up the possibility of seeing the England legend twice at Sincil Bank in a week!

The club have advised that only the Echo stand will be open for the game that isn't expected to draw a big crowd. The opposite can be said of Saturdays game. With Gazza at Sincil Bank in such a high profile local derby the crowds are bound to flock to the game.
